 You know you're a "medical mom" when you text your Starbucks order to your husband, and it autocorrects to one ventilator iced coffee please....😆

Little update... Annelise had clear scans for her quarterly check for any signs of liver or kidney cancer.  Praise the Lord for all the health we have!

Her bloodwork came back pretty good, with a couple borderline high levels of chloride and phosphorus that have to do with her kidney function.   Dr. Google has me thinking that perhaps we can get those levels optimized with a diet change.  We're praying for wisdom for us and for her specialists who I'll be emailing to get better direction. Wisdom that includes smarts to keep Annelise happy and healthy as much as we are able, and wisdom to intentionally give all anxiety that comes up about the what-ifs straight to the Lord, wisdom to have His perspective as much as we humanly can, to borrow peace so we can be present and enjoy this cutie for all of our days together!

Today we have nowhere to go, and will be hanging out enjoying the day in our PJ's while I drink iced coffee with pumpkin spice! Excited for it🥰 Here's what Annelise has been up to this week.

 This is the adorable face of a 2-year-old who was told at her cardiologist appointment..."seeya in a year!"

Her big issues cardiac-wise have been resolved with the surgery she received in Omaha! I'm flat on my face so grateful to God for putting the people in our lives to get us there, so they could get us here.  She's still a complex cutie.  We have 14 specialists to keep in touch with throughout the year.... but the heart, that's a big one.  The specifics are.... she has a bicuspid aortic valve instead of a tricuspid.... that may or may not ever cause her problems, that's what they'll be checking out annually.  Her tiny leftover VSD has now closed by itself, yay! And her aortic arch is nice and roomy... giving her a strong pulse all the way down to her toes.♥️

She's amazing! What joy to be this kid's parents. Thank you for praying and supporting us. I'm excited to share so you can celebrate with us and praise God for this gift of heart health and time with Annelise too!  Hallelujah!♥️🤩🥰💗🏋️‍♀️🥳
