The first photo is a surprise we got in the mail from the Child Life department of our Children's hospital ❤ When Annelise was going through her 2-month long casting to straighten out her clubfeet, I showed the weekly cast decorations to staff each week that were there to support us while she got her new casts on, and was asked if I would share them via email, so I did, and this is what we got in return!
Child Life is such a unique profession. They are there to help some kids learn about their diagnosis and procedures, and I am sure each family has their own unique needs and ways they can use support. Child life has been everything from battery-provider for our twinkle lights and Christmas tree in the PICU...to birthday balloons and gift bag giver for me while Annelise was inpatient... to the cutest personalized gifts from the gals at the Ortho clinic❤ They all do an amazing job! A big Praise God for the great providers that have joined our adventure🥰
