9/8 Sunday morning update

Little update on Annelise.  She continued to have episodes of desats, agitation, basically what looked like seizures again but not as exaggerated as they were before the medication started. Without an EEG, the medical professionals are always looking for what else it could be too... Which I appreciate, because fewer things get overlooked when you're always trying to think of all possible causes for a behavior... but after watching this babe like a hawk for days in a row, we were pretty much sure that it was seizures again.
The neonatologist on duty this weekend is the one who specializes in neonatal brain injuries, so he knows the brain, and that's what we are focused on this weekend!  I had heard about him being the guy to talk to about our babies having seizures from the Trisomy parent Facebook group that we're a part of.
I was praying for him to be the next neonatologist that we saw... but I missed noticing that direct answer to prayer when it appeared that Annelise was responding perfectly to her dose of the drug.  I thought "oh how nice he's here and we don't even need him to answer any questions, it's all under control"... When we saw him again today to up her dose and he personally noticed what he observed to be seizure behavior... I was so thankful that he's on our case for this period of time especially!  Another example of God's timing being perfect... Another moment we can draw on while we're in the middle of waiting for the next thing.
She's zonked out, so I have no new pictures... So I'll share a compilation of her weekly photos.  It's so amazing to see her progress, and I love watching her chub up from week to week!
