September 5th

I think the fact that I'm having trouble thinking of what to post for today means that Annelise had a pretty good and uneventful day!  She slept a lot, but was also wide awake for a long while in the evening, it was awesome to see her so awake and alert!  She continues to have no seizure symptoms ❤️
We started talking about going home to Long Beach, Miller Children's Hospital!! No definite plans yet, but I am needing some time to adjust to the idea of leaving this safe place where our daughter's life has been saved on multiple occasions, by people whom we have formed relationships with and will really miss, it's going to be hard to leave!  It's one of those difficult transitions where we can't wait for the next step, but there is a real loss involved in leaving this step behind ❤️
