Saturday and seizures

We had a great morning!  Her care plan included just hanging out with no changes and waiting for g-button surgery on Tuesday. We gave Annelise her bath, got lunch while she slept, and I held her after lunch.  That's when we noticed that it appeared she was having a seizure again. 😕 Then another episode happened... not quite exactly the same topography as the seizure episodes before she had her video EEG, but seemed to be a milder form.  Either way, her oxygen saturations dropped with every episode, and then continued to drop sporadically throughout the evening, now without much observable behavior other than her wide eyes and startle.
She'll have a blood draw in the morning to see how much of the phenobarbital is in her blood.
Her nurse put her in her swing, and she seems to enjoy it.  She doesn't stay asleep for long though, and wakes up with wide eyes.
Praying that she can get some rest tonight, and that they can figure out how to keep her in a happy place of no desats or seizures. ❤️
Thank you for keeping up with our long journey!  Along with the stressful medical stuff, we get typical moments like getting pooped and peed on, stress melting away with a good baby cuddle time, dressing the baby girl in pink and bows and Disney princess onesies!  Today was Snow White 😊. I've said it before, she was made on purpose for a purpose. We're the lucky ones who get to be her parents 🥰
Thankful for the Lord's peace and His word that reminds us that Jesus wants to come to Him when we're tired, and we'll find rest.
